Dear Elizabeth,

I must tell you that while my size has never changed, manufacturers' sizes have! In the "old days," I may have been a size 8. But remember, it isn't her size that makes a woman beautiful, it is her confidence and winning personality. (Long legs, like mine, may help too, but that really is beside the point). You will be happy to know that the cocktail dresses were such a hit last year at BEV CARDO, that we are bringing back even more. This year for designers you will find Cynthia Steffe, Trina Turk, Madison Marcus, and Shoshanna, all in a range of sizes.

Did you know that cotton pillowcases dry the hair, resulting in fly-away frizzies? Here's the secret: If you sweep your tresses into a lovely silk scarf at bedtime, you will preserve your hairdo. "Lovely" is an important word here, as you may be seen before "lights out." I like to use a Yseault Design silk scarf from BEV CARDO. It looks very Pucci-esque, which of course is just so ME! I also love the Rani Arabella line carried there. It has the look and feel of Hermes for much less the cost.

For heaven's sake, NO! Vegetables have their place, no doubt, but I have learned that eating broccoli isn't the only way to get the benefits that come from dark green vegetables. Do you know about chocolate? Chocolate is made from plants that contain flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. You must know the benefits of antioxidants in preventing aging and heart disease and, of course, as mood elevators.
